ZLATIBOR Zlatibor, the most accustomed tourist resort in Serbia, is located in the South-West part of the country, 220 km far from Belgrade. Average altitude of this mountain highland is 1,000 m, surrounded by peaks Tornik (1,496 m), Cigota (1,422 m) and many others. Due to a moderate continental climate and Mediterranean air streams, Zlatibor is declared an air health resort. Zlatibor has developed into a famous ski resort with the longest tradition in Serbia due to its vast glades, golden pines even under snow, clean air, great number of sunny days in the year and beautiful ski runs. Ski resort “Tornik” is located at altitude between 1,110 m and 1,490 m, 9 km far away from the tourist center of the resort. Four ski runs (Cigota, Tornik, Ribnica and Zmajevac) are reconstructed and widened. The most contemporary newly built six-seater chairlift and ski lifts make Tornik a ski resort of exceptional quality, admired by skiers of different categories. Capacity of the six-seater is 3,000 skiers per hour, with the speed of five meters per second, with 99 seats and length of 1,650 meters. It starts from 1,111 meters above sea level and climbs almost to the top of the peak Tornik – to 1,485 meters. Two ski lifts have capacity of 2,400 skiers per hour, so that this resort is capable of transporting 5,400 skiers per hour. In ski resort there is a new type of installation so. "Tjubing", which allows sledding on tires throughout the year. Tjubing, and the lift itself, can be used in summer and winter period of the year and provides immense satisfaction and excitement to all who decide to try out. Ski resort Tornik is equipped with system of artificial snowing system. The ski center is also equipped with a children's playground and carousel. Skijalište ZLATIBOR Prostrana visoravan Zlatibor nalazi se na jugozapadnom delu Srbije, na prosečnoj nadmorskoj visini od 1.000 m, a okružuju je visovi Tornik (1.496 m), Čigota (1.422m) i niz nižih. Zlatibor je planina izuzetne lepote, prostranih proplanaka ispresecanih planinskim potocima. Zbog borova koji se zlate i pod snegom ova planina dobila je ime. Zahvaljujući karakterističnoj klimi i vazdušnim strujanjima koja se mogu naći samo ovde, harmoničnom odnosu između pošumljenih predela bora, jele, smrče i prostranih livada prekrivenih živopisnim biljem, čistom vazduhu, čistoj vodi, velikom broju sunčanih dana u godini, prelepim skijaškim terenima, Zlatibor se razvio u čuveni planinski turistički centar sa najdužom tradicijom u Srbiji. Ski centar „Tornik" nalazi se na nadmorskoj visini od 1.110 - 1.490m, 9 km od turističkog centra Zlatibor. Ukupan kapacitet skijališta je oko 5.400 skijaša na sat. Ski centar Tornik opremljen je sa šestosednom žičarom, kapaciteta 3.000 skijaša na sat, dva ski lifta tipa ”sidro”, ukupnog kapaciteta 2.400 skijaša na sat. Četri staze, Čigota, Tornik, Ribnica i Zmajevac pokrivene su sistemom za veštačko osnežavanje, tako da ovaj ski centar više neće zavisiti od vremenskih uslova. U ski centru Tornik postoji i nova vrsta instalacije tzv. „tjubing“, koja, kao i sama žičara, može da se koristi i u letnjem i u zimskom periodu godine i pruža neizmerno zadovoljstvo i uzbuđenje svima koji odluče da je isprobaju.
